About
Hi, welcome to The Wit of Writ; my name is Angelo. The name of the blog comes from my desire to learn about and understand Scripture. I chose Wit as it means ‘understanding’ or ‘intelligence.’ Writ on the other hand comes from Holy Writ, an archaic way of referring to the Bible.
I’m currently a student in Bible College and this blog serves as a way to develop, clarify, and share my thoughts on Scripture. There is a deep intellectual and philosophical side of Scripture which cannot always be discussed in everyday life. Often the practical matters of faith take precedence, but I delight in thinking about the more complicated matters such as predestination, the problem of evil, or apostasy.
I hope to share my thoughts and study on Scripture, but I also hope to share practical matters of how we study, take notes, and think about Scripture as well.
